The concept of total wellbeing is central to the objectives of Hatha yoga. It offers a great depth of exercises, postures, meditative stances, and remedy sessions to help the student overcome her emotional, physical, and mental issues. It compliments all known systems of treatment and is an inexpensive, low-risk supplement to curative procedures. It heals the body of past traumas, imbalances, and toxins.
The Hatha yoga teacher is a guide, mentor and a friend who disseminates his knowledge to the disciple. Based on the ancient Indian culture of Guru-Shishya parampara (teacher-student tradition), the teacher imparts knowledge to the student in the most easy-to-comprehend manner, complete with anecdotes, examples, stories and fun facts. He gently pushes the student to achieve the highest objectives, encourages the student to go beyond her limits, and instils a sense of calmness and serenity in her mind & body.
